Cressy cricket and football ground are currently serviced by dilapidated and non-compliant changerooms and sub-standard club facilities. Design exploration revealed cost effective means of renewing the facilities by making the most of the existing infrastructure, whilst acknowledging that economy is sometimes found in renewal rather than refurbishment. A hybrid upgrade / new-build approach proved the most cost-effective outcome, and in full compliance with regional standards under AFL preferred facility Guidelines.
